The entrance is at the lowest elevation of the vineyard, which is facing a secondary road leading to Peso da Régua.
Travassos property sizes 61.68 acres, 56.83 acres of which are being mechanized and 4.94 acres with 25-30 years old vines.
Three gravelings were done in the vineyard: 12.36 acres in 2007, 21 in 2010/2011 and 23.48 in 2011/2012.
Across the vineyard there is rising water.
In the property there is a house and three buildings, needing to be rebuilt.
Water lines and roads were corrected at the time being of the gravelings.
Travassos vineyard and house were very important for Alto Douro history with relevant episodes featuring respectful personalities like D. Antonia Adelaide Ferreira and the Governement Leader Duke of Saldanha who leaded his son Bernardo António Ferreira to marry her daughter Maria de Assunção in the Travassos Chapel.
